おうちで簡単バーベキュー塩鮭Pingu recently discovered this awesome blog called Just Bento, tried the salted salmon recipe and barbequed it in the backyard. Delish!
BTW, when Pingu first told me about Just Bento, I was like, "Oh no, one of those again?" I mean, I've seen way too many recipe blogs by Japanese women... and yes, YOU are, in fact, looking at one right now too, but seriously, Just Bento is really different, and I highly recommend it.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment! First of all, I do apologize if I made you feel uncomfortable in any way. I guess what I was trying to say was that I've seen a number of recipe blogs especially on a site like this http://www.recipe-blog.jp/, and most of them look the same to me. I also get the impression that some of those women seem to be working so hard just to be "ranked" high, and it makes me wonder how much they actually care about food, health, and the people they cook for, etc.?
BTW, I meant to say that this blog of mine is a blog by a Japanese woman. It's no way a recipe blog!
No no I wasn't uncomfortable at all. I was really just curious! I do agree, many Japanese recipe blogs look exactly the same...although that may be because they are mostly hosted on one of a handful of services like ameblog, seesaa, etc. and use the same layout. I am not sure how I feel about the 『このボタンをポチッと押して下さい』(please press this button to raise my blog ranking) button on each and every blog post either.

ReplyDeleteI do have to admit though that I've actually tried placing one of those buttons on another blog just for fun. It's not doing anything because my blog is always at the bottom of the list. (^^;)
