Rice Macaroni

Rice Macaroni in Japanese Consommé Soup

I didn't even know there was such a thing as rice macaroni until my hubby's aunt gave me some. For some reason, I didn't think this macaroni would taste good with regular pasta sauce, so I put it in clear Asian soup. It was pretty good with some white pepper. Great for kids with wheat allergy (including my princess)!

Curry Pilaf

Curry Pilaf & Pasta Wheels

For a potluck lunch at my daughter's preschool. I made pilaf the right way for the very first time (I always used to cheat and throw everything in a rice cooker before)!

Tuna Soboro Rice Cake

Cpicon *;*簡単!ツナそぼろのご飯ケーキ*;* by orange*

I used about eleven eggs to make this much 錦糸卵 (Kinshi Tamago) as I plan to make multiple cakes this week.

ツナそぼろ (Tuna Soboro) - BTW, I love this Small Nylon Spoon by OXO. Its design with metal in the middle is so clever.

How to make tuna soboro: Put canned tuna (drained), soy sauce, sugar and mayo in a small pot. Cook on low until there's almost no liquid left.

1st layer: eggs

2nd layer: rice

3rd layer: tuna

4th layer: rice again
