I'm a Japanese mom of two trilingual kids and a baby. My husband is an ABC (American-born Chinese) ... aka Pingu or Calimero among some of my friends. Our daughter is allergic to peanuts, dairy & eggs, so we try to be creative when we cook.
About Recipes...
I don't post recipes with my food pictures most of the time (sorry!) mainly because I usually use other people's copyrighted recipes. If the original recipe is available on-line, I include a link. But the real reason is I'm just too lazy to translate recipes from Japanese into English! Anyway, here are some of my own recipes that I have posted on Google Base.

My Experience with OXO
I don't work for OXO, nor am I related to any of its employees. I'm just a happy customer! Their customer service is simply EXCEPTIONAL. They say "We guarantee everything we make! If for any reason you are not satisfied with an OXO product, return it for replacement or refund." Yeah, "any reason" and they do mean it. One time I decided to return over ten items for replacement. Some of them were defective/broken, some just didn't work well for my house, some didn't work the way I'd expected, some were almost ten years old, etc. I wasn't sure first if I could get all the replacement items I asked for, but I really did! My husband couldn't believe it. They truly know how to make customers happy.
